Jewish Pride Button - Jewish Women's Symbol Button - Jewish Feminist Button - Jewish Matriarchal Pinback Button - Star of David button

Labyris, Chai and women's symbol combined in one button for Jewish Women's Pride.

1.5" pinback button

A reissue of my now highly-collectible button from 1977.

This version includes three small dots on the shaft of the labyris, not only for decorative purposes, but so the viewer can tell at a glance that this is the reissue, not the original. Also dated on curl, 2017

The button features many important symbols incorporated into one design.

The Chai, a Hebrew letter, symbolizes good fortune and the number 18.

It is set into a Star of David.

Set into a circle, atop a Labryis.

The entire shape forms a women's symbol.

The Labyris is the double headed axe, symbol of matriarchy.

For the Jewish feminists in your life. I think it would be fun for a Bat Mitzvah, tuck it into the bigger present.
